Wills and Estates Lawyer
Together, let’s ensure that those you care for will continue to be cared for.
Make the decision to stop procrastinating.
If you have avoided making decisions about your estate plan, you are not alone. It can be scary planning for a world after you pass away. But let’s not put it off any longer.
I want your experience preparing your estate plan to be:
Convenient. Life is busy and sometimes office hours just don’t fit your schedule or you can’t find time to leave your home. That’s okay. I am more than happy to work with you outside of the regular 9 to 5 schedule either over video conferencing or in person at your home.
Understandable. So often visits with lawyers are confusing and overwhelming in part because they use jargon and don’t explain what that jargon means. I don’t want this to be your experience. I am preparing these documents for you; you should understand what is in them!
Thorough. Just as with any area of law, estate planning is nuanced and complex. A thorough estate plan requires balancing many factors. I have been practicing in this area of law for a number of years. This experience has been invaluable and has taught me to efficiently identify what issues to flag and considerations to keep in mind.
For most estate planning tasks, I set a flat fee for services. Generally, this fee will be set after an initial discussion with you about your goals, your family, and your financial situation.
For estate administration and other tasks, I charge an hourly rate, plus disbursements and applicable taxes.
